Harald Søndergaard, Partner & Attorney-at-Law (H)

Harald Søndergaard joined Hafnia Law Firm in 2012 as an assistant attorney and became an attorney-at-law in 2015 with right of audience before the high courts. In 2020, Harald obtained right of appearance before the Supreme Court. Harald became a partner in 2021.

The main area of Harald’s expertise is international recovery and enforcement issues with particular emphasis on sale and purchase of ships, drafting international contracts, insurance and the oil industry. His clients are primarily ship owners, banks, insurance companies and bunker traders.

In addition, Harald has extensive litigation experience particularly with international commercial disputes and disputes related to cross-border insolvencies. He has experience with all instances in the Danish court system as well as with Danish and international arbitration.
