Peter Schaumburg-Müller

Peter Schaumburg-Müller is a co-founder of and partner in Hafnia Law Firm.

Peter was born in 1950 and obtained his law degree from the University of Copenhagen in 1977. In addition to his Danish studies, he studied maritime law at the Scandinavian Institute of Maritime Law in Oslo and international law at the University of Aix en Provence.

Peter began his career at the law firm of Dragsted Kromann Nørregaard & Friis (which later became the law firm of Kromann Reumert) and subsequently joined P&I club Skuld, where he specialised in shipping and insurance law. In 1981, he established the law firm of Schaumburg-Müller & Co. – the predecessor of Hafnia Law Firm.

Peter’s practice encompasses all legal matters connected to the shipping- and transportation sectors. He is admitted to the Supreme Court and has extensive litigation experience within the scope of his practice.
